I mix the four tablespoons of Epsom Salt with three cups of apple and tart cherry juice. Both juices have malic acid. The tart cherry juice seems to help to cut through that bitterness of the epsom salt. Not to say that it still isn't bitter, cause it is but there is no way that I could drink it with just plain water. Also if you don't want to use as much juice you could mix two cups of juice to one cup of water.
