Years ago I quite taking ascorbic acid, my face broke out, I thought it was because the C was too acid. That was 20 years ago, since then I've have taken buffered C, ester C, anything but ascorbic acid. About two years ago I had total body breakdown. Non-healing wounds, celluitis, leaky gut, yeast, ect. Making a long story short, I went back to plain ascorbic acid. Before ascorbic acid my ph was acid, now it is normal. Also I take alot of MSM, some Iodine and some herbs. Ascorbic acid has saved my life.
