Re: teenagers

Alright. i noticed everyone here seems to think all teenagers come from hell. Well im a teenager. i turned 15 .. but i dont even have room to go "wild" and etc because im on a really short lease with my parents. The one thing i noticed with a lot of teens my age is that first of all parents sometimes dont keep a channel of communication open with their children and thats what causes this whole problem. no matter how much teens act like they dont want you involved in their life they do.. they want your advice, opinions but they dont want to be yelled at everytime they make a mistake. Adults think its so simple being a teen but being a teen is what makes or breaks u.. it affects us emotionally, mentally and of course as all parents press.. educationally.. Dont get me wrong being a parents and an adult is tough but dont fool urself and think that being a kid is as simple and ud like to think. we face a great more deal of social problems and that tends to be the first things we want to deal with. frechi for your daughter try understanding what shes going through first. i mean kids wants to hang out and well 11-12 is a lil much but hey give her 10-10:30 and as long as she isnt doing anything wrong .. should be fine. also be sure to be blunt because teens dont like mind games.
