Re: After the MC: What can be done to maximize your efforts!
"Some day, I might write a book!"
you just did,PC...good one!
My 2 cents is to add that after the
Master-Cleanse consider the fact that your body
is processing/digesting food at close to peak performance. Digestion
doesn't just take place in the stomach. Your colon absorbs quite a bit
of nutrients(and toxins , too).
It is important to realize that being a 'meaner machine' you will absorb more
calories and fat as well. So cut back on the portions. Most people will go back
to the same old routine after an MC. It's like all that willpower of not even
chewing a single bite for 10-40 days blows away with the wind.
Realizing, capturing and retaining that willpower of saying no is key to keeping the weight off and segueing into the health and lifestyle you want and know you need.
Most people will think , "ok, I'm done with the break, now I can do/eat anything I want.", and they do exactly that, assuming that they did the
Master-Cleanse for 10 days and
now they're body is as clean and virgin as a new born baby.
For gosh sakes enjoy the energy, power and self love you experienced and extend those feelings throughout your life. \
While on the
Master-Cleanse clean out your fridge, cabinets and drawer and rid yourself of the
blatent crap. At least cut 1 negative eating habit out of your life. Next mc another.
Keep the h2o intake at at least 1/2 your body weight in ounces. I still start my day with a
quart of water , mainly to keep the routine of the Mc and remind me of the willpower I displayed for as much as 45 days. (use that special cup/glass
that you used on the mc)
Be snobby and picky about what you are eating. Be sure to eat at least 8 servings of raw fresh fruits and/or veggies per day...1/2 cup servings...the more colorful the better. Read up on nutrition ,mineral and vitamin intake. Take note of the symptoms you have that lead to deficiences. Read up on 'tell tale signs', get in touch with your body.
Savor your food, don't worship it. It's been proven that chewing your food more and longer fills you up faster. The body registers the number of chomps apparently, releasing more pepsin, for one.
Visualize who and what you want to be and say no to the things that inhibit that visualization. Just say no starting from the first day after your break, and say yes to the right diet, exercise and mental attitude.
Remember , if you can say no to even one grain of food for 10-??? days, then what else can you say no to? ANYTHING!!!
Read up and research. It's a wonderful journey, not a task or mission.
I'm waiting for my lemons and oranges to ripen, then I'll be ready for my
next Mc.
A duty to yourself.
