the meat was fresh from the store, expiring nov. 20, there were two packages to pick from and i chose the freshest. i don't know how the worms made it through the grinding process to be intact, unless they can grow from eggs in refrigeration. if this doesn't turn me into vegetarian, i'm not sure what will!

i cleaned kitchen like a crazy woman til 3am, will throw out cutting board.

we've saved samples (triple ziplocked!) and will pursue the beef producers via the store we got it from. i'd still like to know what they are, whether the eggs or worms could survive the cooking, and what we can do to cleanse ourselves. it'd be nice to not have to discontinue nursing for a month of parasite cleansing.
