Re: Mirena removal

Hi, I'm new to this chat room but I too have had the Mirena IUD for about 2yrs. I did not suffer any major side effects while I had it in. I had the mirena removed on sept 5,2007 and got a period two day later, I than got another period about 2weeks later, another about 3weeks later, than another about 10days later.. and again one more as of two days ago. So thats 5 periods in about 10weeks. I have a doctors appointment scheduled in about 2wks with my OBGYN to see what's going on. It sounds like others are experiencing similar side effects once it's removed.. any suggestions... should I be worried about all these periods or is this NORMAL?
