Re: Gums
Hey Molly,
That's wonderful, and a very important point from someone who has been doing this on a long-term basis -- the importance of sticking with it and being patient. I was just psoting a comment at my local paper's website -- they ran a story about how anti-microbial soaps are probably not as effective as hot water and regular soap, and that they may in fact help germs build resistance to
Antibiotics . I replied in part that we are a society who looks for quick fixes in vaccines, pills, soaps, etc., and that companies have a field day and a happy trip to the bank by selling us products because of our laziness and fear combined -- but I can't think of one pill, process, or product that could provide the long-term benefits (oral-health, mood-stabilizing, skin-evening, etc.) of this wonderful therapy.
Looking back a year or so ago when I started, I was delighted with the early effects of OP, but am only more more appreciative of it now that some time has gone by. There are a lot of remedies and protocols I have tried and abandoned, but I hope to be an OP'er indefinitely!
Thanks again, Molly.
