My fellow oil pullers:
Last night I was looking at myself in a magnification mirror and noticed that my receeding gums have definitely changed on both my upper and lower teeth. I've never had problems with loose teeth, but I had recession on both canines and the corresponding lower teeth.
My gums look very pink and healthy, and there is definite growth. Very exciting.
It makes sense. If I am relieving my mouth of all that bacteria that adds to gum disease, on a daily basis, then it is logical that my gums would be allowed to regenerate if possible.
I pull with three oils now. Sesame, coconut and Udo's oil. I switch off everyday, doing a pull in the a.m. and sometimes before dinner. On weekends I often do three pulls back to back in the morning while on the computer.
I've been oil pulling for 2 years now. I have no more sensitivity in my teeth, and my tongue and gums have been very healthy for these past 2 years. I have no problems with allergies anymore. My saliva is ever present, no problems with dry mouth. I don't have morning breath at all.
I did want to report my news to you all. I think there is hope after all for our good dental health. You have to be patient.
Cheers,
Molly
