Re: IUD to be removed

i would definitely not get it again. they don't have all of the possible side effects listed. i did get severly depressed about the whole time i had it in. along with other stuff. when the mid wife handed me a pamplet on the mirena and talking me into getting it, it didn't say anything about possibly becoming severely depressed nor any of the other problems i had.they just told me that if i started cramping or bleeding really bad to call. i was wondering what was wrong with me. i was rocking my baby very lightly on our bed one day and the whole room turned sidways and then turned back. really scared me. and that wasn't the only time. i saw the gyn months after that, and he talked me into giving it a little longer, i wish i would had just said no and to take it out. it really put a strain on my marriage and my relationship with my children. i didn't want to be around anyone because of how bad i felt, a lot of times i just wanted to die. but i feel so much better now, it didn't hurt at all when he took it out , just a little cramping like when it was put in. i hope you get to feeling better soon.
