Re: Severe case of strep throat
If this were my problem, I would be taking Olive
Leaf Extract, 4 caps, twice a day. I would also
be using a toddy of Apple Cider Vinegar and Honey
and hot water. This can be taken warm or cold
and sipping is good. The honey attracts the bacteria,
the vinegar dehydrates them and they die.
The measurements for the ingredients of the toddy
are variable, a tablespoon or two of vinegar, honey
to taste and water to taste if you like it lighter
or stronger. Drinking plenty of pure water in addition
to any other liquids is going to help a lot.
Here is additional info on Olive Leaf Extract.

Oregano Oil would have worked but not just 2 doses.
I would have gotten some caps or used the oil and
added this supplement to my Olive Leaf Extract and
ACV toddy taking. Here is some info on oregano oil~~

Grapefruit Seed Extract is also effective for strep
throat and very cost effective. I would gargle with it
as well as take some internally.
For a gargle, 3 drops in 3
ounces or more of water
is effective as a gargle.
Orally, 5-15 drops in 5
ounces of juice or water 2-3
times daily is suggested. These dosing recommendations
come from instructions I received with Nutribiotic
GSE liquid concentrate, also very cost effective. It
is about 9 bucks for a small bottle which lasts a long
time.
Here is info on Grapefruit Seed Extract, although, my
favorite brand is NutriBiotic GSE~~

The
Colloidal Silver would also have been a good choice
but again, the dose of a small jar is hard to see working.
PPM (parts per million) is also a consideration too. At
any rate, more would have been effective.
An herbal tea like Throat Coat by Traditional Medicinals
or others found in a health food store tea section would
also be soothing and reduce discomfort.
Dietary considerations will hopefully include fresh juices
and delete processed sugars and drinks like sodas.
Hopefully others will also add their 2 cents. I hope
you can find some suggestions which help and your daughter
feels well soon~!
blessings,
Zoe
