Lady questions-please help!

Hi, Have any other females out there stopped getting their period after either contracting parasites/beginning to fight parasites? I'm not sure which of these is the culprit as they occurred fairly close together, but considering this is the first time I've flat out skipped 2 periods (and I'm 100% NOT pregnant) I'm sure it's the worms. ALSO, I'm on birth control. Since I've had worms I began constantly spotting throughout the entire month. This has also never happened to me before. Could the wormies be eating my birth control??? At first, I thought that the worms had eaten my birth control (alas the spotting) and I'd gotten pregnant due to this (hence the skipped periods) But I'm not pregnant! Sorry this a gross question, but are the worms eating the birth control and the blood as well? It worries me. Should I continue to rely on my birth control? Sorry for the zillion questions. I'd really appreciate any input/experiences anyone has to offer!
