Re: Having no gallbladder and liver fluke infestations

It is my understanding that the gall bladder is just a container for the bile. If you are prone to getting stones, and you don't flush them out and change your diet, they will just build up in your bile duct after they take the gall bladder out. If there isn't no gall bladder full of stones to provide shelter for the flukes, they will have to colonize elsewhere.

The first time I flushed my gall bladder, my boyfriend was very skeptical. He said the stones were just olive oil. I save some of them in a jar, showed them to a friend of ours, who is a doctor, and asked him if he knew what they were. He said, "Yes. Those are gall stones. I take them out of patients all the time during surgery. Where did you get them?" I told him I flushed my gall bladder.

He said, "They will just come back. They always do." As if it was a waste of my time.

I said, "Then I will flush them out again."

I've never heard of anyone having gall bladder surgery more than once. I wonder if the doctore tell people they have liver cancer and let them die when their stones come back, or what.
