psychotropics, edited, again, thanks to Prism

I never had an opportunity to take orange sunshine, but I did try purple micro-dot and window pane. Also did my share of mescaline and mushrooms.

Years after I quit using drugs, a doctor gave me a prescription for prozac. I was amazed at how much it felt like a mild psilocyben trip. I probably would have stayed on it, if it hadn't knocked my clitoris in the dirt.

There was no way I could have an orgasm when I took it. By the second day, my entire clitoral nerve was dead. It was like a thick rubber band, instead of a nerve with feelings. The doctor said the feeling would come back, and to keep taking it, but doing so didn't make any sense to me.

Especially when I could get the same feeling from taking a quarter of a mushroom cap every morning, without the sexual side effects. I decided I'd rather go the natural route, than take a prescription. But my shroom grower boyfriend got sent to prison and I didn't know where to get any more. None-the-less, I refused to take prozac.

Refusing to take pharmaceutical drugs and choosing to take life on life's terms instead, is my way of protesting. I have been "clean and sober" for twenty years.

But I'm really glad I had the opportunity to experiment with psychotropics when I did. Psychotropic substances nourish a portion of the brainstem in a way that many people have found extremely beneficial. Those who are interested should only try it, in a safe place, with experienced guides. I do not recommend acid, which can induce a sudden and dramatic shift of consciousness. But there are legal plant source psychotropics, that are much milder. I still have mild flashbacks from the acid, and continue learning from it. It opened my third eye. When I was using pychotropics, I thought we would be better off if they put LSD in the water supply instead of flouride, and jokingly said so on many occasions. These days I wouldn't infringe on anyone's choice.

The drug scene is different today than it was back then. The people using drugs are not doing it for the same reasons. I was drawn to it because of what Ram Dass and Timothy Leary were preaching, that it would heal the planet. Drug users today are simply using because they feel hopeless. And the "good kids" today are so dazed and sickly from all the toxins, all they want to do is hang out at the coffee shops, buying shots of energy to keep them going.

It seems kind of weird to me, that people preaching about the Conspiracy to dumb down America and exterminate the masses, think everyone should buy gold coins and warn everybody that the dollar is going to become worthless, which encourages investment in foreign currency. Human beings are like a pack of scared animals, rushing to the slaughterhouse.

What needs to be backing up paper money is faith in our fellow man's promise to give something of equal value in exchange for the amount of work that was done to obtain the note.

Mining the precious metals out of our mother earth, smelting them into coins, hoarding them out of fear, is not the solution. Human energy is a renewable resource with infinite potential. If our faith in each other was as great, there wouldn't be a need to harm the planet.

What we need to do, is teach children the difference between a constitutional republic and a democracy by the time they are in the fifth grade, instead of waiting until college. And we need to demand that our soldiers start guarding our borders and protect our freedom to have personal rights, instead of helping other countries establish the worst form of government there is: democracy, which is tyranny by the majority.
