Understanding the epidemiology of chronic illness

I dare not get too deep into the subject, but I would like to approach some philosophical aspects.
Many of us here on the forum are actively researching their own conditions, and sharing the experiences.
This includes thousands and thousands of dollars spent on consultations, drugs, herbs, shipping costs! We have done tests, seen specialists, and invested thousands of hours of time.
Does anyone realize the power of this? WE are making a very significant contribution to the education, treatment options, re-examining failures, and so on.
WE have posted pictures, video, radio shows, sought out resources and have conducted our own experiments.
Tell me what doctors office you can walk into and be presented with such information?

This is why I personally think we should all stand together and work these thing out.
Investing valuable energy into sabotaging the flow of this process, would simply be counter-productive.
I value that we have so many intelligent people sharing their knowledge, and providing valuable links etc. This is how we are eventually going to resolve the toughest cases.
There are those who have even restored their health to levels much higher than they have known.

I just want to say, that I value this forum very much and even think it is revolutionary. We have good people here, and working together is the best way to save ourselves from progressive illness. Thanks, everyone!!!
