Sorry, I shouldn't say that "nobody" around me realizes. My husband is very supportive and sympathetic. He has his own health struggles. He cooks for me. But he tried to explain why I eat the way I do & why he eats the way he does to his dad, and his dad goes, "in the old days, we just took our asprin [my husband was talking about migraines] and went back to work." Oh, gee, we wouldn't want to deal with the root cause. He mentioned how eliminating wheat is helping my constipation, his dad says "she should just eat more yams." I don't get any more sympathy from my side of the family, just lots of arguments. I have friends who listen, but I don't think they really understand or could see themselves making those changes in their lives. I think some of them think I'm a hypochondriac.
