Your are in a hypnotic state anytime you are focused. As you read these threads on this board you go into a trance light or deep, depending on how interested you are in the subject. Within minutes of settling in to watch your favorite TV show, you are in a trance. Advertiser depend on it and broadcast special frequencies to aid the trance state. How about when you are driving along in your car and you suddenly have to take a few seconds to figure out where you are? You have been in a trance.

If you really have "tons" of info on the subject, maybe you should re read it.
Maybe you have filtered for the negative info put out by folks who don't know what they are talking about.

There is a hypnosis forum where professionals meet. Anyone can read it and join it.
One of them tells about a friend who had a bad scar from having been attacked with a knife. The hypnotist took the man back to prior to the event and induced amnesia for it. The scar healed. Tweet
