Re: Day 10...need encouragement.
I know what you mean about the mental games. So often I've ended fasts very early on due to losing such games in my head. After 10 days it becomes a bit easier to win the 'arguments' due to being halfway there and not wanting to turn around and go back so to speak.
Having been using food as a crutch and now not having that crutch the moods have also hit me pretty hard as my fasts have progressed over the last couple of months also. I am very much hoping that this will turn out to be part of the detox process and healthier emotional life as well as physical will follow this fast. I also hope you are nearly through the worst of your worst symptoms unfettered moth.
You are doing fantastic I encourage you to keep going strong and hold on to your goals. If you can't stop yourself craving maybe try changing what you are craving.. so when you start thinking about eating something- whether dirt or something else that tempts you- maybe consciously imagine eating your favourite fruit, savour the imaginary experience for a while until the need passes. This can let your errant mind know what it has to look forward to and prepare it to break the fast well when the time comes.
Focus on your achievement so far, you have done excellently. Good luck continuing towards your goal. :)
Take care,
Andrew.
