I was just recently diagnosed with Charcot marie tooth disease. I am new to this site. How could I talk to Barbara please? I have had 5 operations on my left foot, and 4 on my right. I just had surgery, and I am home now with a cast on. I was told all my life it was pes cavus. This is true, but now I know that I have CMT.
My mom suffers from Dupytren's contracture...in her hands... she is 74 and has had laser, but it keeps coming back.Does anyone know what I can do to help my mother's Duypentrens Contraction? My grandmother (no longer living) had severe crippling arthritis. I am a musician..violinist and pianist. I sometimes feel some aches in my hands. I am a vegetarian. I am thinking of going vegan. The raw diet is a good thing, and I know it cures cancer. Do you think it will help my condition?.. anyways, I am willing to try whatever God guides me to. I was very interested in the liver cleanse. Do you think this will help? I am 41 years old.The Doctor says my case is mild, however, I want to do something now before it gets worse, and I am tired of the feet problems and bad balance, pain in the feet, not much padding, etc...My muscles and nerves need help. I have the symptoms of CMT. I can walk, and I have tried to climb mountains. I need to excercise more..it's my downfall. I also think I need to cut out dairy, and sugar. My joints...I think are a bit acidic...I don't drink enough water I know. Anways, I am interested in all the health tips that Barbara has, and I want to ask her things about her CMT to see how it can relate and help my problem. Thanks so much! I wonder if essiac, and pycnogenol will help me. The Dr. said I had gene duplication. The extra gene, is causing problems in my body...He told me some studies had been done on mice..Vit C seems to keep the CMT from getting worse...so I am thinking that other antioxidants might help?..Again..thanks
