Just for the record, it was our forum that actually posted the first Oil Pulling post on Earth Clinic :-) I think that you will find that our archives have quite a bit of information in them also. The format is a bit different however.

The one thing we have not discussed is metal chleation while OPing. I think it is very worthy of discussing. It does make sense that OP would remove mercury from mouth tissue.

It appears that there are different ideas on OP going around the internet. I do not always agree with Ted on Earth Clinic however. In fact I have cringed at some of his advice on OP. However, I am very glad that the subject has taken off and that people are aware of this practice.

Sunflower oil does have a long history regarding metal chleation (and radiation mop up). However, we have found that other oils do have other benefits, oils like coconut and walnut, etc. That has been proven over and over in our posts. So we do not necessarily subscribe to just sticking to the two oils that Dr. Karach recommended. It seems that at some point the body gets used to one oil and the effects are not as noticable. Once you switch the oil you often experience a refreshening of the protocol. We suggest you change oils at least monthly.

Again, thank you for posting, and by all means feel free to post any sites that you think support the idea of mercury chleation.
