Oil Pulling for Mercury Detox

Hi, everyone. I have visited this website a number times and really enjoy all the great information. I first heard of oil pulling a couple of years ago from John Moore at Bea Lydecker's Health Show in Portland. Mr. Moore was lecturing on mercury detoxification, and he suggested oil pulling with sunflower oil to pull mercury from the gums and tissues in the mouth where it is deposited from mercury Amalgams -- an important reason not to swallow it! He recommended the brand Flora which also makes Udo's Choice. The label on Flora sunflower oil says, "Certified Organic Cold-Pressed & Unrefined." I was able to order Flora sunflower and sesame oils from a local health food store. I oil pulled three times (evening, morning, evening) with sesame oil because I read a testimonial saying that sesame makes the skin glow. What I noticed immediately was that my sinuses started draining, and draining, and draining. I don't usually have sinus problems except when I have a cold. I stopped OPing after three times to stop the drainage but my sinuses drained for over a week. Also, tartar fell off the insides of my bottom front teeth. And for two nights, I slept round the clock. I read another testimonial saying since these oils contain a lot of vitamins, that he was drizzling some over his food. I'm starting to try that too as I feel it is much better to get natural vitamins from foods than laboratory created ones from capsules and tablets. I got the link for this site on earthclinic.com. There is a lot of information there on oil pulling, and that is where I learned that oil pulling isn't just for mercury detox. I'm telling others about OPing and referring them to this website. For more information on John Moore and mercury detox, you can Google him and mercury and get a great interview that appeared in Acres USA. I would suggest sticking with sunflower and sesame oils as they are the ones traditionally used for thousands of years in Ayurvedic healing.

"There is treasure to be desired and oil in the dwelling of the wise...."
