Post Nasal Drip? (New to the forum!)

Hi everyone. I am new to the forum--I am prone to frequent vaginal infections and fit the profile for candida infection (long term Antibiotics , birth control pill, , ringworm, etc). I had other symptoms such as neuralgia (idiopathic neuropathy so said my doctor), joint pain, hives, etc. 8 years ago or so when I went off the pill. Many of them got better with a low glycemic index diet due to Poly Cystic Ovary Syndrome, but the one persistent one is post nasal drip. I've only noticed it as pretty persistent in the last couple of years, and have only recently begun to wonder if it's yeast related. I am brand new to the concept, as my doctor put me on diflucan after finding yeast in my urine and I was having painful bladder symptoms--but have decided to go the natural route with anti-fungals, diet, and probiotics. The last three weeks I've been doing all of this have been interesting, to say the least: I've seen a lot of gross stuff in my stool! This makes me think I'm on the right track, I hope. I have always felt my energy level is lower than others--it would be great to feel more energetic if it turns out yeast might be a contributing factor.

I have been trying to strictly follow the diet, though there are so many conflicting things out there it's hard...but here's what I'm wondering: I don't have any major symptoms--flare ups, or things that let me know I've eaten the wrong thing. I only notice that sometimes my PND is a little worse than other times. Does anyone know if it can be an allergic reaction to food? I don't know if I'm allergic to any foods as I never seem to have any obvious or digestive reactions...also, thus far in my diet and protocol (about three weeks) I've seen no improvement in it. Any suggestions?

Finally, if I have such weak symptoms, how do I know when I'm getting better or when to start reintroducing certain foods, etc. ? I want to do this right, but I already eat a restrictive low glycemic index diet due to Polycystic Ovary Syndrome. Now even my low glycemic grains like sprouted grain and oatmeal seem to be a no-no--even cheese!

Anyway. I know this post is all over the place. You all seem like a knowledgeable lot. Help????!!!! :) Thanks in advance!
