Re: Thumb joint pain-yes iodine
My thumb pain appears to be arthritis, in that it comes and goes, and gets
better with activity. Same with the knee pain. I only microdosed while I
was using the Electrodine, which only has
Iodine (no iodine) and is much
less per drop than
Lugol's (280 mcg, I think it is). That was from mid-Dec.
last year to the last week of January. I didn't know any better as the forum
had not begun yet and I didn't discover it till around early to mid-Feb. or
so. Once I got on
Lugol's I took lots more, and then experimented some more
with Magnascent, at the same time as I was taking fairly high doses of Lugol's.
Anyway, the pain in the joints remains whether or not I take iodine. I
took a month-long break from
Iodine and the pain was still there. I have
taken other weeks-long breaks, same thing. Extremely frustrating. I never
had chronic pain before, and I'm not doing really well with it. I have had
to totally stop going to the gym and I've gained weight, plus feel about
85 years old. My energy level has plummeted, I need (but do not get) much
more sleep, and feel mentally slugglish too. Oh, what fun. I'm glad it's
working well for you, though!
