I read in a prior post that someone stated that taking synthetic vitamin c is not really a good recommendation. I have never had trouble taking ascorbic acid or sodium ascorbate in mega doses..but then I never really thought of it being so different from the vitamin c I get eating citrus fruits. Now I'm thinking I should buy the vitamin c supplement that contains acerola, which I have in the past. Right now I'm just using the synthetic kind.
How else can you buy acerola? Is it powder? Juice? Berries? What is the take on synthetic vs natural vitamin c for the most part for anyone here?
