Re: HIV, Africa and Circumcision

When will the world stop being so politically correct, and admit that the main cause of HIV/AIDS in Africa is 'dry sex'? (i.e. the woman dries out her vagina with various substances - and why? Because of 'culture', that tedious old excuse again, and because the 'men want it' - they see a moistened vagina as 'dirty'.) Dry sex leads to vaginal lacerations and torn condoms - a short trip to HIV infection. And because the men often have several sexual partners, the problem just increases.

It is the same with female circumcision, women are suffering because of the culture of male domination and horrific ignorance. Unless aid workers reach the hearts and mind of the MEN in these instances, these problems will never go away.
