OK. when I look at the figure of the bare woman, she is definitely going clockwise, very strongly.


When, however I focus my eyes two inches to the left, off the figure to the words in the column, she changes direction as perceived in my peripheral vision.


Possibly in my case different portions of the grey area are used for peripheral versus focused vision.

Terms such as right-brained and left-brained don't do much for me. That's like saying I'm right nutted, or left-nostriled, or right ventricled.

It's the whole package that counts, not some 20th century shrinktalk trying to "amaze" me with the output of their trickery.

I truly appreciate your putting that up - it's made me wonder about which way I should turn.
