left handed very much makes a difference. the left side of the body is controlled by the right side of the brain. a left handed person would naturally tend to be right brained.
i cracked my right elbow in the first grade. i was right handed. i had to do all of my work with my left hand. all through grade school, until i got tired of it, i was ambidextrous. when i joined the air force, my job was in radar. the control rooms had lots of radar scopes. each tech assisting the weapons controller at the console was in radio contact with the plotters behind a big plexiglass board. as a plotter, we were given the information to post on the back side of the board to be read from the front of the board. this meant we had to write backwards. i picked that up quite easily and could write backwards better and faster than i could forward. this is when i learned to write in all caps. it didnt translate too well to the internet, so i write in all lower case.
i guess i am both brained. i can even do that trick of rotating the foot clockwise and then drawing the number six in the air without changing the direction of my foot. they say a person who plays a musical instrument has better communication between both sides as well. i play guitar.
