ileocecal valve

I would just like to say that I got in to see a naturopathic doctor today who did a "biofeedback" test on me, which is supposed to detect weaknesses in your system. He said that I have a weak ileocecal valve. He also said he figured that candida was what was causing these problems (stench, gut rot), because it (the candida) is able to move from the acidic colon to the alkaline small intestine, where it thrives. I'm pretty sure that this is exactly what whitney has been writing, but I figured I'd write this anyways.

The reason, he said, that people can go on candida diets for ages with little or no success is that they don't remove all allergens from their diets and suppliment their bodies properly to get this valve functioning properly. So candida just keeps sneaking back into the small intestine to start the whole process over again. Again, I know this is just repeating exactly what whitney has said, but I thought it might seem more credible if the info came from 2 independant sources. I dont't know if it's the solution or not, but it might be useful to someone.
