Indoor Wheatgrass Growing...any suggestions?

Hi Everyone!

As its starting to get cold, I'm trying to figure out the best way to grow my wheatgrass indoors. I have three loving felines that make it hard to just grow the trays in a windowsill (I have one in particular that knows when I am juicing and is right at my feet to catch any blades of grass that I drop).

Does anyone have any suggestions for growing the trays indoors? I haven't had a chance to do too much research, but I did see a kit for about $200 that included a light source and everything. I'm trying to find something a little more reasonable (that would fit into the budget of a grad student). If you have any suggestions, I would love to hear!
