Ohfor07, thank you for this marvelous post.  You have it all figured out.  I rarely go see family.  First of all because they are all mainstream in every way and I am the strange one, the black sheep if you will.  Sometimes I wonder if they mixed up the babies in the hospital and I was delivered to the wrong family.  LOL

I know what you mean about the TV set.  I stopped watching the television set many years ago.  Until about two years ago all I watched was the news now and then and then realized that even that wasn't worth it.  Actually, life is much more peaceful. 

Actually, I think that TV is responsible for the breakdown of society.  The worst invention ever.  I think back to when I was under its spell and shudder.

Something that you said about video games struck me.  I remember years ago someone saying that videos were meant to train kids how to shoot, how to fight in a war.  There is an ulterior motive for everything.  So very sad.  Life could be so beautiful.
