Re: O/T Distilling

I have been wondering for some time, my distiller came with a plastic bottle which catches the water. The water is very hot when it comes out and it seems to me that really hot water and plastic don't mix. I have been thinking about trying to find a glass alternative, but then how do you fit the charcoal filter in it?

Also I have been putting the distilled water in a plastic fridge container with a push lever thingy to dispense the water, however this morning I noticed something growing in the lever thingy. Immediately put the water in glass bottles.
