Re: coconut oil tastes a tiny bit soapy or something

i vaguely remember a slight soapy taste with oil pulling. I don't think that it was just with coconut oil. Could it be a detox from all the times you got your mouth washed out with soap after saying a bad word as a kid? I am just kidding! But, seriously I am wondering if this is just a detox rather than a taste from the plastic tub. But, since you didn't have this with the stuff in the glass jar.... I would venture to say that it has something to do with how the coconut oil was handled, rather than the plastic itself. They don't store the coconut oil in extreme heat that would facilitate breakdown of the plastic, and besides wouldn't it taste like plastic rather than soap. Tweet
