Enemas and Water fasting

Does anyone think that using an enema during Water Fasting will contribute to an electrolyte imbalance?

I was hoping for a colonic but the nearest practioner is 2.5 hr away.

If you can refer me to anything that explains the whole procedure , how to , need to replace the insertion device, etc. , or any link that helps, I would greatly appreciate it.
