wow, your story sounds like so much of what I've read about that thing. I can't believe IUDs are still on the market. I have never used one, the idea of having some sharp thing implanted in my uterus seemed totally scary and unnatural, and I've used primarily just condoms for birth control, though I did try a diaphragm for awhile, but stopped because I didn't trust the spermicidal stuff sitting right on my cervix for hours and hours. I really feel bad for women who have had a terrible time with IUD's, and I hear this one is particuarly bad.
I wonder how many times when a woman cut me off in traffic or I got a bitchy teller at a bank, etc., - in reality she was mentally altered by her IUD! Funny, and not funny....
