That's like on Lost. Did you see the episode where the Australian girl was having a baby and they were all terrified because the one doctor wasn't around?

They act like its a disease or something - of course you want everything to go well, but humans were able to birth and look after their teeth and all sorts before we had dentists and doctors, it makes me furious when people give up their responsibility for health to another person.
What does that person care for your health and well being?? Occasionally you do get a good doctor or dentist, but they're few and far between.
