PCtoo, they won't even allow me to play a doctor here, but you know how opinionate I am, so here goes:

Clean blood CURES a body, and yes, I believe this!  You can't have clean blood with a congested liver.  Several of us around here started in states that were cronic if not fatal had we not chosen to do what we're doing.

My first advice for your friend ... the guidance of a holistic doctor.  I'd recommend that she ask at the largest healthfood store in her area ... they probably have some of the most well know and respected practitioners in her area to give seminars, etc.

Healing crisis can be scary, I've been there, done that!!!  It would be good for her to have somebody already lined up if she needed them.  Getting off meds for serious problems would scare me.  I never took my sick liver to the doctor, so I didn't have to start by getting off meds ... I consider myself lucky on that one.

If my good friend was serious ill, there's a book I'd buy her along with a pack of highlighter pens:  Health via Food by Dr William Howard Hay.  He teaches fasting for overcoming health problems and proper food combining in this book.  It's a must for any holistic library.
