Hello!
After observing changes a series of
Liver Flushes brought about in my health, a friend was interested in trying it, too.
She is in her early 40s, has asthma, wildly vascillating blood pressure (high and low), scarring in her lungs due to the asthma "puffer," serious
food allergies and environmental allergies, marginally high cholesterol, and has recently (2 weeks ago) been diagnosed with a mysterious heart valve insufficiency (sometimes they close, and sometimes they don't), and a wide range of heart beats - sometimes beating very quickly, sometimes very slowly. There is some question as to whether the back of her heart is involved (that is where the Bundle of His is located, which controls electrical impulses to make the heart beat). She has had health problems all of her life, some caused by injuries, some developing later as autoimmune problems. Her recent tests revealed a low white blood cell count. She is significantly overweight (but is working to bring her weight down), and is close to being diabetic. Now, she suffers bouts of severe chest pain and alarming dizziness.
Aside from her asthma puffers, and now nitro spray, she is not on any medication. That is likely to change soon.
Until recently, she consumed the SAD diet, combining starches and meats at the same meal. She has a particular love of pasta and sweets. Now, she is eating salads twice a day and taking a whey product, following her doctor's orders. She is reducing weight through diet and walks 10,000 steps a day. She has been told not to lift heavy weights, as her doctor thinks lifing heavy weights might have damaged her heart, so working out at a gymn is out of the question.
She will go for a second, much more extensive battery of tests, in a few days.
At the time she started preparing for liver flushing, about 6 months ago, she did not have the obvious problems with her heart, only the blood pressure variations. Of course, the heart conditions newly discovered may have existed, undetected, for years.
She started to prepare with a 3-month colon cleanse, using P&B shakes. Next, she did a
parasite cleanse, using
Clarkia . Then she did a kidney cleanse, drinking banaba tea, occassionally lemon in hot water, and finally taking cranberry supplements. After that, she started mild metal detoxing using chlorella. Since then, she has done 5 liver flushes, removing approximately 1,000 stones. She has not complained of Herxheimer's Effect.
I am concerned that the
Liver Flush might be too hard on her body at this time. I am also concerned that the
Liver Flush might have stirred up a hornet's nest within her body, aggravating a condition that was silently developing.
Could any knowledgable person shed some light on what might be happening? Should she stop doing the flushes? Is it important for her to continue them?
Any comments would be greatly appreciated.
