I have a friend who will hardly eat any fruit because he is afraid of the sugar in it. He says it will raise your glycemic levels and that is the worst single thing you can do for your health.
I have been searching the internet to find some good information about this issue and I have not really found any yet.
I have been trying to convince him to drink more juices to cleanse with because he has recently been on some nasty kinds of ama type medications - so we got into this argument about fruit
Does anyone have any thoughts on this? I cannot believe that fruit which is so wonderful could actually be bad for you! Also I have a plan to go on an apple juice fast after I complete the barefoot pre-cleanse and he thinks this is really stupid...
