Re: To Boem and Trapper
bad diet choices? arent they under your control? as bad as you have been feeling, that makes no sense, hopi.
My choice of words were not very good. I did not have a chocolate covered pigfest, I just ate some steak for the iron. Its been a long time since I ate heavy meat and it did not agree with me. Right now, I do best on gently cooked veggies, whole grains and a few raw fruits. This may not be the ideal diet for a lot of people, but its what I can handle. I know you believe in a single daily meal of just fruit, but I don't know how you do it, that is not for me.
Read I Corinthians 6:12 and apply Paul's principle to food. All things are lawful, but not all things are good. Most importantly, we should not allow ourselves to become slaves to food. That applies to both healthy and what many call unhealthy foods. Most of us need to put food in its proper place, as fuel for the body and not a drug, friend, lover, psychologist or social custom.
