Re: Meditation Won't Boost Health: Study

Ever since I began pracising yoga, the benefits started revealing themselves. It took a long time, but eventually I was able to sit still long enough to meditate. In the last two years, I have been able to kick a longstanding amphetamine addiction, depression, eating disorder, and have also kicked all the totally ineffective antidepressants and neuroleptics that were prescribed to "help" me. My boyfriend in is prison (for a long time) and I am broke, but I have more peace and patience than I ever had in my "carefree" younger days when life was simpler. I am lucky I found it, because it is free and has NO side effects. When I become a yoga instructor, I hope that I will be able to help others find this extremely effective and VERY old way to heal themselves, because unlike allopathic medicine's pharmaceuticals, it actually WORKS!
