Re: DAY 1... what can i look foward too/ avoid doing?
Hi jojo224, your goal of losing 30
pounds in 2 months is entirely reachable and reasonable. The first week, actually the first 3-4 days, is usually the most difficult to get through.
My suggestions are not to go too long with just water if you begin to crave food, switch to juice when that happens. Also, a daily
Sea Salt solution cleansing enema is a major assist while doing any kind of fast. For me it helps reduce the craving for food, and also helps if I get a headache.
When I'm fasting I actually look forward to the enema. If I have a headache, it's usually gone by the time I'm off the toilet. It seems to just disappear without my even realizing it.
Enemas also help in preventing the building up of the concentration of toxins in your system as your fast progresses and your natural peristalsis slows down. This bowel function slowdown is a normal result of the lack of bulk in your dietary intake during the fast.
I offer you lots of encouragement to stick with your program to reach your goal, as I know many readers on this forum do as well. Keep us posted on your progress.
Good luck!
Valerie
