Hey Kebod! good one, "R" that, Molly:) I'd like to add to that that hemp oil is the most balanced source of EFA's out there.

a lot of folks use flax to supplement EFA'a, not a good idea. Flax has 4 times as much w3 as w6. One can develop a w6 deficiency using flax, that can result in very dry, papery skin, among other things.... Hemp oil also contains chlorophyll..

Hemp oil is much better if one chooses to supplement with a seed oil, will not lead to an imbalance or deficiency of any of the EFA's.

And then there is the school of thought that says that we are not meant to ingest seed oils in quantity(think Weston Price). that ingesting more oil than would naturally be found in just eating some seeds is not natural or desirable.

Personally, I think that supplementing EFA's through the use of seed oils is fine, for a time. At the SAME time, eradicate your use of bad oils...
