In the orient....soy is used as a condiment....not a meat/protein replacement....the soy bean is no longer what it used to be before Genetically-Modified-Organisms & hybrids came along.
The whole snake oil of my post is, is what these massive companies have been throwing away as by-product, basically now is jam packed into everything as cost effective fillers/shakes/chicken/ everything.
If you look at labels of many "quick fix" foods, soy powder/protein is often the number 2-3
ingredient.......just like the "white death" Sugar thing.
Most cheap "vegetable" oil is actually a legume oil, made from the cheapest & most processed product.....soy based oil....even worse...hydrogonated.
They jam pack the most of what's cheapest is food for mass productions purposes....
