    for your question, I'm not the patient myself but I kept close track to this field(cancer, alternative medicine, breakthrough news) and I'd like you to check this clinic out. They kept updating the site, testimonial especially. I can't help much without your conditions and such. You should check out if your conditions are related to anyone of their patients.

Hello, I’m new to this forum. Does anyone have ideas on how to stop thinking of food as necessary comfort or entertainment that makes life better? I’m 23 lbs. overweight due to thinking this way. I want to train my brain to understand that this week/long fast will help me, and not to think of it as deprivation. I’ve fasted for 2 days before and thought about food constantly. I want to get past that, to where I’m not obsessing about what I wish I was eating. How long does that typically take? And does anyone have tricks/tips/suggestions for how to deal until I get there? Thank you.

  Agree that willpower is the main driver.
  
  I use coffee and a variety of top shelf loose leaf tea (mostly regular caffeinated, but occasional coca leaf).
  
  Open to idea that flavors make my fasting more difficult, but I'm a skeptic; I've seen no evidence for this.
  
  Caffeine has been my helper for every 4 day fast and nearly all 1-2-or-3-day fasts.

    Thank you. I’ve done several 36-hour fasts and one two-day fast, and I really want to go for seven days. I may not make it, but I have a $200 bet riding on it, so I’m motivated. : ) The shorter fasts have been great for my digestion (I’ve struggled with constpation and grassiness my whole life). So I’m hoping the seven days will really get things in order in that regard.
    
    I’m afraid to drink flavored waters or caffeine. I suspect they’d make it harder for me to stick to the fast. I hear that everyone reacts differently, and I’m glad they work for you. I’m also doing this for spiritual reasons, believe it or not, and I think pure water will be better in that regard.
    
    I’m excited to see what it feels like when the hunger and desire to eat go away. I hope I make it that long. My ultimate goal is a 21-day fast, so this is a practice run.

  You can read many of my messages about food and people who have relationship with food. Most of people who think of food all the time are replacing one or more emotional response with food. So simply you can do this.....
  
  Every time you think of food or are drawn to food, stop, count to 3 and ask why am I thinking of eating now, am I feeling sad, hurt, or missing someone, am I about to eat mindlessly? Then walk away. If hungry, eat raw fruit or vegetable mono meal.
  
  Try this again and again and you will succeed.
  
  BTW, never drink anything but water when fasting. Caffeine is very enervating even when you are not fasting. Coffee, tea and sodas are dehydrating and worse thing you can do when fasting.

The only promising therapy I see stopping ALS is the Dr Cicero Galli Coimbra mega dose vitamin D3 protocol. It must be followed by a Dr Coimbra certified practitioner.

My brother David has been dgx with ALS for a little more than a year. He showed signs of it for close to three years and no Doctor was able to figure out what was wrong, until my sister whom he had been living with kept trying to bring him to each doctor ---- finally found a doctor who recognized almost immediately that he had ALS. He has been taking medication that was made available to him only through a medical grant funding from those who have donated to the continuing research for a possible cure. He has slowed down in the progression, but without side affects. My hopes and prayers are that, you can also contact the Doctor for possible cure if you have ALS or any relative suffering for same disease here is their email healthmedlab AT gmail DOT com
