Thank you. I’ve done several 36-hour fasts and one two-day fast, and I really want to go for seven days. I may not make it, but I have a $200 bet riding on it, so I’m motivated. : ) The shorter fasts have been great for my digestion (I’ve struggled with constpation and grassiness my whole life). So I’m hoping the seven days will really get things in order in that regard.
I’m afraid to drink flavored waters or caffeine. I suspect they’d make it harder for me to stick to the fast. I hear that everyone reacts differently, and I’m glad they work for you. I’m also doing this for spiritual reasons, believe it or not, and I think pure water will be better in that regard.
I’m excited to see what it feels like when the hunger and desire to eat go away. I hope I make it that long. My ultimate goal is a 21-day fast, so this is a practice run.
