It seems like if I don't get enough fat in my diet I get really really cracked out feeling,I can't sleep,I have ADD like symptoms,I get all OCD and I just feel like crap overall.It seems like I do well for a few weeks then I get these spells where I can't sleep a wink and am really irritable,then I'll eat something like baked beef ribs with the fat/broth or chicken thighs and I feel ALOT better for like 3-4 days and I'll feel normal again.I don't understand what's going on? I know I need fat in my system but it seems like a hit or miss and it has to be animal fats,anything else and I just don't respond.Too many carbs makes me delirious and too much protein makes me tense,but plenty of fats seem to be the only thing that soothe me.From my experiance the following meals have proven to be highly therapeutic;
baked beef ribs (wrapped in foil to retain juices,then broiled to lightly brown)
large leafy green garden salad
baked chicken thighs over onions,red/green peppers,cabbage
(broth is consumed as a soup w/veggies)
Baked steak w/onions & red/green peppers
steamed veggies
baked chicken wings
large ice berg salad
being on a modified verson of the warrior diet,I have to be on top of my nutriet content..but how much fat do I need and should I just gauge it on how I am feeling?
usually when I realize when I am low in fats,it's usually too late and I am tossing and turning ,haven't slept for a few days and just irate like a mofo.
