Wow, Anja...you have done a lot of things!
Please forgive me. I want to talk with you, but it's 6 p.m. and some of us are getting hungry.
I'll come back after a bit and make this same post longer, with a new title...okay?
Thinking and thinking.
Fledgling
................................
I Googled the lady's telephone area code, and saw that she is in the Southeast Ontario region...perhaps in Ottawa.
I also took a quick boo at her site. She surely has all the bases covered. Likely she would be 'drawn' to the particular modality or modalities you require.
From the 'Think About It' film, my husband and I decided to experiment between us...and on our own.
A while back, before we knew about the film, or Zdenko Domancic's work...yet after I had taken Level I 'Touch for Health' from my kinesiologist...I sat in a recliner chair one evening, and 'zipped' myself up the length of my spine and skull...except that I wiggled my fingers all the while.
(In 'zipping' one passes the hands up the centre of the body, though not touching, and moves the hands downward out to the sides...so as to avoid 'unzipping'.)
Ten or fifteen minutes of that and I was ready to fly...the energy was so real.
In the Domancic film it is suggested that one cannot 'heal' ones own aura, but that we benefit from helping another.
I don't know about that.
Dh and I decided to do both...for each other, and for ourselves.
Something actually happened between us at one early session. Electrical, perhaps, some kind of awareness...similar to the look that passed between us as we said our marriage vows...warm and gentle.
I know, for sure, very little about energy fields...certainly not enough to teach; but I do have strong suspicions from my experiences.
I feel that everyone, everyone has healing capabilities.
And that all modalities lead to the same place.
I think that we simply need to practice the methods we feel are best, or even make them up as we go.
After all, that's how we got into the state we are today, we did what seemed best, to us, all along the way.
And, none of us is totally 'wrong'. If we were we wouldn't be breathing.
I suspect that each of us is simply another possibility, one of endless zillions...and that, if we wish to be different than we are, all we need to do is change...take that 'step to the side', onto another path.
I think we get all tangled up in trying to figure out 'how'.
When asked how to sculpt a horse, an artist is said to have replied, "Get a piece of stone, and chip off all the bits that don't look like a horse."
If we do that often enough, we will soon become expert in carving horses.
Practice, and refining, instinctively, makes perfect.
It helped me to consider that we all go to fulfillment, in the end; that we all see ourselves as whole, and all questions are answered...no matter how we have lived our lives. That living our lives to a standard makes us happy while we do it.
And that, if we are stuck, after death, that we can any of us be helped into the light, by those still living.
In one rescue I saw on TV, a priest felt he hadn't lived to the 'right' standard, and he was stuck in the fear of God's wrath.
Two mediums spoke to him, and told him not to be afraid. The priest appeared to go toward the light, in true repentance...and vanished from the home he had been 'stuck' in.
Fantasy? Maybe. But the mediums seemed quite sincere, and they were both very happy at the end of the session.
They always are inclined to laugh a little when they do this.
I suspect we can put any form or 'rules' on reality. We could become convinced that we can only be healed when we are in a headstand, or only when holding a baby shoe. It doesn't matter what we embue with magical powers, for us, it will work...with practice.
It is as though we give instructions to our sub-conscious minds. The sub-conscious is then charged with serving us up with exactly what we have asked for. If we have placed literal limitations on our objectives, that is how they will come.
Much better to be open, I believe.
Another thing I think must be true is that it is better to focus, lightly, on what we are FOR, rather than what we are AGAINST...lest we get more of what we DON'T want.
I have had good results, a few times when I tried it, by simply making a statement, once or twice, and then going on to other things.
I said, twice in one day, "I will remember every telephone number I need to remember, when I need to remember it." It worked, the next day. As my hand was over the receiver, to pick it up and dial...the number appeared in my head.
It worked for years...and may still work, though I haven't tried it much, lately, usually checking numbers before I call.
For years we have wanted a garden. Suddenly we found ourselves moving to a large property where fellows are experimenting with third world methods.
The hooks for us have always been that we felt we needed help...and that we were looking at specific properties, where we lived then. When we were least expecting to have a garden, or help, both showed up...as easy as pie.
I don't know if any of my notions are helpful to you, Anya. I hope so.
My best,
