I used to get lots of headaches, most connected to female hormones. Since those let up, I tried to really get to the bottom of the ones I did have. I got them down to two causes - caffeine related, and toxic overload related. I take no coffee or soda, but do take green tea and occasionally black tea. It seems if I have ANYTHING with caffeine, I can have it only once without getting withdrawal in a couple of days from not having it. I have to be really careful not to do black tea two days in a row or later that week, POW!

The second big cause, toxic overload, is not always caused by what I eat, but seems to be the cleansing process working and dumping things out. Salt push helps quickly, but extra magnesium and probiotics help too, even if more slowly.

Headache is also a symptom of low blood Sugar and of high blood pressure. The HBP seems to be sometimes a intermediate cause, for example, there is low blood Sugar or some toxin aggravating the body, the pressure rises from that and causes the headache. My friend used to have terrible headaches, and I noticed the pattern. She didn't eat (wasn't hungry), and eventually she would get a headache. I would take her blood pressure and it would be up, even though random checks would be absolutely normal. Neck massage really helped her. The same thing happened to me with the caffeine reaction. Perhaps that is why sleep helps you; it relaxes those blood vessels.

A good crossover medicine for me was Excedrin, as it seemed to lessen the frequency of the headaches. I almost never have to resort to that now.

Another thing I forgot to mention - for some reason I seem to be sensitive to the car A/C and I have to be sure the blowers don't hit my face or shoulders! And I have to be careful about my posture - I spend a lot of time on my laptop and find myself leaning on one arm, causing strain on my neck, and results in Pain!

Chiropractic...Try it. I've been fixing any and all types of headaches for years. It's almost easy. If you work with your chin down (like on a laptop), you can't help but mess up your neck. Other things you can do to improve your cervical spine. Get in the habit of raising your chin and gently roll your head back and forth. Do this often throughout the day. Change your pillow.

How to make migraine patients happy?
First thing doctor must know if this migraine patients have a fear of a dangerous disease or not!

We must tell him because migraine not a disease but its un allergic situation.

You know that when somebody get un allergic situation due to different factors as eat, smell, wear, etc. He will get a skin red reaction, so this red reaction can be only due to 2 reasons: hemorrhage or vasodilatations. Its not a hemorrhage sure, Why? Because when you do a finger pressure on it you will see that red became into a white for a while and he will back into red color. That mean vasodilatation, because when you do a finger pressure you make this vessels empty of blood (white), and when blood comeback (red).

Migraine mechanism is the same thing.

As a response to certain provoke factor as (sun, cold, chocolate, ice cream, etc,,), un artery in the skin of the head (scalp) called superficial temporal artery do a very strong dilatation, and this artery is surrounded by a very sensitive nervous branches (trigeminal nerve- the same nerve that give teeth pain in dentistry- we must tell him that to know how sensitive this nerve), so this nerve branches will be pushed (pressed) by artery wall. What will happen? Of course headaches. How that? You will explain him how in lumbar disc pain: nerve pressure occur in low back region but pain appears in the legs, while legs are totally normal. The same thing happen in migraine headaches we have pressure over nerve branches around the superficial temporal artery and all the region where this nerve branches goes. Here you must give him this reality: If un ophthalmology doctor examine your eyes in time of migraine attack when its nearly closed and red with tears and photophobia, he will tell you that nothing pathological in your eyes its normal eyes, so what happen?


You must tell him that not eyes itself the reason, but the external layer of eyes (protection transparent layer) that protect eyes from external factors take its innervations from the same nerve branches that were pressed by superficial temporal artery.

He will ask you about his nausea and vomiting, we must answer him that all that happen as a reflex reaction into the brain because of connection between nucleuses of different nerves, but don’t worry about that you will see how its easy to get rid of all that.

Other thing must be told to migraine patient that between 2 migraine attack you feel totally normal and don’t feel anything unusual? He will answer yes. So that mean there is no serious disease to worry about because serious disease don’t act at this way.

Also we must tell him that majority of migraine patients with time they will get rid of migraine headache, (due to atherosclerosis that make artery rigid so dilatation cant be done), that mean also its not a serious disease to worry about it.

Now we can tell him that in migraine disease when we get rid of headaches we can say that we cure the disease itself.

How we can get rid of migraine headaches?

We must show him how this artery appears in front of the ears and give its 2 branches.

Its too important to show him that thing because on this depend all that work.



We have to learn him to do a finger pressure points on superficial temporal artery before its do this bifurcations.
