I can confirm what others have said...
In addition, along with diet and other healthy habits, I have regrown receding gum tissue. I also believe, cannot confirm, that as my teeth have seated more firmly, they straightened out a bit.
I used to have very straight teeth, that over the years became crooked and loose. I am hoping that the dental arch is once again widening out and over the years I will see improvement in this.
My wife had been an on again, off again oil puller... for about 5 minutes a day or so about a year ago. She has terrible teeth and pockets; some WERE 8s and 9s before pulling. All of them reduced in depth over time with oil pulling; then she got out of the habit; they were better and she dropped it. About 2 months ago she went to her orthodontist and he told her he wanted her back in a month for extraction. That shook her up enough and she started pulling like crazy and asked me what to do. I told her to add a few drops of oregano oil to every pull.
Long story short... she did not need the extraction; after just a month! She now has her oil with her on any trip she takes... and her whole family and most of her friends are now doing it. She is a walking testimonial.
Another thing... she used to get sick all the time and has not been in two months. I would bet that the oil pulling is a part of that, but so is the added oregano oil. I also convinced her to give up fluoride tooth pastes which could have had a positive impact as well.
