"Root canals are a zillion times worse than mercury fillings." ~Dr. Hal Huggins
"I see people pushing along in a wheelchair. I wonder when did you have your root canal done? Because root canals so far have turned out to be one of the most vile things that I have ever run into...." ~Dr. Hal Huggins, D.D.S., M.S.
Why should I not have a ROOT CANAL done?
Root canals are recommended when a tooth has been fractured, or when decay has entered the nerve chamber and created much pain. Often the body calcifies the tooth membranes, and allows it to remain. Unusual as it sounds, the body does not like dead structures in it, and a healthy body will try to reject it. Pain requiring antibiotics and pain pills are frequently used until the immune system stops working in that area. Root canals produce toxins that can increase or create many autoimmune diseases.
Is laser treatment for cleaning of root canals and cavitations considered a safe treatment?
In both root canal sockets and cavitation linings, the big concern is the anaerobic bacteria. These are ones that live in the absence of oxygen. Botulism and gangrene are examples of anaerobic bacterial action. Bad bugs. If laser can kill all the bacteria, who is going to remove the dead bacteria, or the dead bone lining the sockets? There is no blood supply here. Laser only kills, does not clean debris. Other techniques are required to leave a clean area that can fill in with bone and new blood vessels.
Isn't there something you can put in the center of the canal that is safe?
Yeah, there probably is, but that is not where the problem is. The problem with a root canal is that it is dead. Lets equate that. Lets say you have got a ruptured appendix, so you go to the phone book, and who do you look up? Lets see, we have a surgeon and a taxidermist, who do you call? You going to get it bronzed?
That is all we do to a dead tooth. We put a gold crown on it, looks like it has been bronzed. It doesn't really matter what you embalm the dead tooth with, it is still dead, and within that dead tooth we have bacteria, and these bacteria are in the absence of oxygen. In the absence of oxygen most things die except bacteria. They undergo something called a pleomorphic change...like a mutation. they learn to live in the absence of oxygen…now produce thioethers, some of the strongest poisons on the planet that are not radioactive. ~ Dr. Hal Huggins, D.D.S., M.S
I recently wrote to Hal:
Hal,
I am getting people saying Epiphany with Resilon is good to put in root canals and it seals all the roots. Can you please address this? do you have any write-ups on this product?
Response:
Write-ups will be in the form of one giant expose! They are looking at the wrong tree to “bark up.” The problem is the infected periodontal ligament on the OUTSIDE of the tooth. Sealing the pulp chamber does not effect the dentinal tubules adjacent to the periodontal ligament- nor the infected ligament itself.
Dr. Hal A Huggins
Research has demonstrated that 100% of all root canals result in residual infection due to the imperfect seal that allows bacteria to penetrate. The toxins given off by these bacteria are more toxic than mercury. These toxins can cause systemic diseases of the heart, kidney, uterus, and nervous and endocrine systems. ~Edward Arana, D.D.S., Founding President, American Academy of Biological Dentistry http://curezone.com/dental/
"Root canals are the most toxic most damaging procedure dentists can do. .... So you have to make up your mind what is more important to you. I believe no tooth is worth destroying my immune system." ~Frank Jerome, D.D.S., Author of Tooth Truth
Joeseph Mercola. M.D.:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a8EjEOqYEYsYou're assuming that ALL root-filled teeth harbor bacteria and/or other infective agents?
George meinig, Author of The Root Canal Cover-up
Yes. No matter what material or technique is used - and this is just as true today - the root filling shrinks minutely, perhaps microscopically. Further and this is key - the bulk of solid appearing teeth, called the dentin, actually consists of miles of tiny tubules. Microscopic organisms lurking in the maze of tubules simply migrate into the interior of the tooth and set up housekeeping. A filled root seems to be a favorite spot to start a new colony.
One of the things that makes this difficult to understand is that large, relatively harmless bacteria common to the mouth, change and adapt to new conditions. They shrink in size to fit the cramped quarters and even learn how to exist (and thrive!) on very little food. Those that need oxygen mutate and become able to get along without it. In the process of adaptation these formerly friendly "normal" organisms become pathogenic (capable of producing disease) and more virulent (stronger) and they produce much more potent toxins.
Today's bacteriologists are confirming the discoveries of the Price team of bacteriologists. Both isolated in root canals the same strains of streptococcus, staphylococcus and spirochetes. ....
All of the "building up" done to try to enhance the patient's ability to fight infections - to strengthen their immune system - is only a holding action. Many patients won't be well until the source of infection - the root canal tooth - is removed

It is best to go to a Biologic Dentist because regular Dentists do not know how to take out the periodontal ligament and do a proper cavitation. Also, they should have a certificate in N.I.C.O. on the wall, because going inside your jaw without proper training can result in problems. Click Here for more info.

They pull them and clean the cavitation. You get a temporary partial to wear 2 to 3 months. Then, you can get a permanent partial or bridge. If your Dentist tells you that you need a root canal, they tell you that when the tooth is absessed (dead or dying) or they think it will become abcessed of they try to fill it or crown it. Sometimes none of these are an accurate assessment. Some do it for money, still others just do it when it is not necessary. So, it is best to get a 2nd opinion by a Biologic Dentist who does not believe in root canals. Torrie
A true Biologic Dentist puts nothing in your mouth that harms the body. They do not use mercury or nickel. Of course all dental material are toxic to some degree, but they use the least toxic. They also don't believe in root canals or implants and they are certified to do cavitations. They follow a stringent protocol for removal of mercury, generally the Huggins' Protocol or very similar. Any varience in those means they are not a true Biologic Dentist. Very few exist in the world. Although they may call themselves Biologic, many of them do root canals and/or do not do cavitations (or they do them, but are not certified). Some follow a very lax protocol for mercury removal, which can be harmful to the patient.
Holistic and Alternative are just other titles used to mean the Dentist is not a mainstream Dentist. Generally, it means they acknowledge the body as a whole and interconnected, that teeth can affect the entire body. They most likely do not use mercury, but some of them, do not remove it. Some will use nickel and some will see it for the cancer causing substance it is. Some will be very aware of the toxic properties of all the materials they are placing in the mouth and some will not. Some of these Dentists will do root canals and some will not (some will believe in them, just send you somewhere else to get one). A very few of the Holistic or Alternative Dentists will do cavitations, even less will be certified to do them.
Many Dentists are using the terms Biologic, Holistic, and Alternative interchangeably, so it gets confusing. A good rule of thumb is to find out if they do mercury removal and compare their removal protocol to Hal Huggins'. Find out their beliefs on root canals and ask to see a N.I.C.O. certificate if they do cavitations.

It is cavitations, not cavities, but yes, you could have them done when you have the root canal pulled. It is difficult to find a Biologic Dentist (or any other dentist) who will do more than one or two things in your mouth. Some think is it too much on the body (which is it not) and some like to have you make many trip in order to make extra money. In any case, yes, you are correct, the hospital will most likely not know how to properly pull and clean a root canal. They also need a certificate in N.I.C.O. to do the procedure, because root canals create cavitations. If you get your root canal pulled, you will have some relief (if it is bothering you), but it is a short-term thing, it will continue to grow bacteria in there until it is properly cleaned. Torrie
I saw it, myself, but don't wish to debate it. You probably weren't talking to me, though. In summation, I believe Hal Huggins, Weston Price, George Meinig, Dr. Mercola, David Kennedy, Frank Jerome, etc.... Biocalex (formerly known as endocal) has been around for well over 10 years. It doesn't work. And, calcium hydroxide is not something i want in my jaw.
To me, the following excerpts sum it up:

Then we get into the root canal business, and that is the most tragic of all.

i have bunch of websites i use and i also have many files i made of all the biologic dentists in certain states.
Torrie
yeah, thanks, i give those files out to people who contact me. there are several more besides those. i did a lot of research to find the best ones. and, i have many files on different states that i spend a long time putting together, which is why i have people contact me first, to try and save them the trouble. I was only able to give them one file, though, as I did not have files for the 2 other states at the time.
