Hi All:
For the sake of conversation, I’m curious to know what people’s thoughts are on the idea of parasite reinfection. I know that Dr. Clark has mentioned it and I’ve read a lot of stories. Many people use the word "reinfection" quite a bit, as if it’s suppose to be normal. I mean, I know the evidence of reinfection is surmountable because parasites are “everywhere” but yet at the same time I question the logic of true reinfection.
What do I mean by true reinfection? My logic in thinking is that if and when the body has been cleared of parasites and the immune system has been reinstated to a healthy state, it makes more sense to me that opportunities for reinfection are reduced significantly; therefore, chances of reinfection are nil when on a regular maintenance program. Now, if I were to do something like not wash my fruits/vegs or eat raw meats, both of which are very risky, then chances are very high for true reinfection.
I think it is highly probable that so-called reinfection exists when, in fact, the parasite problem wasn’t fully expunged from the body. Parasites can hide deep in the body, fooling a person into thinking that all is clear, according to my experience in dealing with these things. Also, what about the doctors who prescribe meds and tell people that their problem is “gone” (we know that isn’t true)! When someone returns and tells their doctor that they still have a problem, it is assumed that the person stupidly reinfected themselves, despite taking all the precautions for reinfection. I realize that the possibility of reinfection is probable when cleansing, but it can be entirely avoided.
What are your thoughts? I’m interested in hearing some of them, even if it is unconventional. I think the entire notion of reinfection needs to be looked at closer or rethought.
Thanks! :)
